For example, a passport may be a common identity document, while a sponsorship or employment document may depend much more heavily on the route and employer. The tool deliberately encourages verification rather than presenting every document as universally mandatory.

Use the checklist alongside official guidance

Start with the route you are researching, review the displayed documents, and then open the official source for the current application instructions. Add personal items that the maintained list cannot know about, such as translations, family documents or evidence requested in correspondence. Because custom items are stored locally in your browser, they remain separate from the maintained HireLanz reference dataset.

Why the data is route-specific

A generic “visa documents” list can be misleading. Requirements can differ between countries, visa classes and applicant circumstances. HireLanz therefore stores country and route information with each maintained record where available. The checklist is still not exhaustive, because a static reference dataset cannot account for every nationality, exemption or case-specific request.
