This policy explains what information HireLanz (https://hirelanz.com) handles when you visit the site, use its tools, read its guides or write to us, why we handle it, who else receives it, how long it is kept, and what choices and rights you have.
The short version
- HireLanz is free, and you do not need an account to use the tools or read the guides.
- What you type into a tool is processed in your browser. We do not receive it, store it or send it to advertisers or any other party.
- We use Google Analytics to measure how the site and its tools are used, and Google AdSense to show advertising. Both use cookies and similar technologies. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, they load only after you agree.
- If you email us or use the contact form, we receive your message and whatever details you include, and we use them to reply.
- We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
- You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how it is used. Write to contact@hirelanz.com.

1. Who is responsible for your information
HireLanz is operated by Muhammad Anus from Islamabad, Pakistan. He decides how personal information collected through the site is used, which makes him the data controller for the purposes of laws such as the EU and UK GDPR.

2. What information we handle
What you type into the tools
The International Salary Calculator, Salary Comparison, Remote Salary Calculator, Job Offer Comparison, Job Description Analyzer, CV Keyword Matcher, Career Path Planner, Visa Route Explorer, Visa Document Checklist and Relocation Budget Calculator all work on figures, text and answers you enter. Some of this is personal: a CV can contain your name, contact details, work history and address, and answers to the visa tools describe your circumstances. Section 3 explains exactly what happens to it.
Messages and forms
If you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name and email address if you provide them, your message, and anything you choose to attach or mention. The website software that runs the form may also keep a copy of the message.
Technical information collected automatically
When you visit, our hosting and security services, and our analytics and advertising partners, may collect technical and usage information such as:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Browser type and version, device type and operating system
- Pages and tools visited, the referring page, and the date and time
- Time spent on pages and interactions such as clicks and scrolling
Advertising and analytics data collected by Google and its partners
When you load a page that shows ads or uses analytics, Google and its partners can set or read cookies and similar identifiers in your browser. What they collect and how they use it is described in sections 5 and 6 and in the Cookie Policy.
What we do not ask for
We do not ask for passwords, payment-card details, government identity or passport numbers, bank details or health information, and no tool needs them. Please do not enter them anywhere on the site. If you paste a CV into a tool, remove anything you do not want to appear on screen, such as identity numbers.
3. What happens to what I type into a tool?
This applies to all ten tools, including the CV Keyword Matcher and Job Description Analyzer, where you paste text, and the Visa Route Explorer and Visa Document Checklist, where your answers describe your circumstances.
Where is it processed? In your browser, on your own device. The tool code runs there and produces the result without sending your entries to our servers. No tool accepts file uploads.
Do you receive or keep a copy? No. Because it is processed on your device, we do not receive what you enter, so we cannot read it, keep it, recover it or delete it for you.
Is any of it sent to an AI service or another company? No. The tools run on fixed formulas, rules and reference data. Your entries are not sent to an AI model, an analysis service or an advertiser.
What happens when I close the page? Your entries are cleared when you close or refresh the page. Some tools may remember entries on your own device, for example the boxes you have ticked on a checklist, using your browser’s local storage. That information never leaves your device, and you can remove it at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings.
What does analytics see? Analytics records that a page or tool was used, for example that a result was calculated. It does not receive the figures or text you entered, and tool inputs are not placed in page addresses.
Could this change? If a future tool needs to send your input to a server or to another provider, we will say so on that tool’s page before you use it, describe what is sent and why, and update this policy first.
4. Why we use information, and our legal basis
Where the law requires a legal basis for using personal information (as the EU and UK GDPR do), these are the ones we rely on.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time through the cookie settings on the site, and withdrawing does not affect anything done before. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object (see section 12).
5. Advertising and Google AdSense
HireLanz uses Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this site and other sites, to measure how ads perform, to limit how often you see the same ad, and to detect invalid activity and fraud.
Depending on your location, your settings and your consent choices, ads may be personalised or non-personalised. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before advertising cookies are used.
We do not send tool inputs to Google or any other advertiser. Ads on a tool page can relate to the page’s topic, such as jobs or relocation, and that reflects the page you are on and your ad settings, not anything you typed. An ad is not an endorsement by us.
We do not control every cookie or technology Google and its partners use. 6. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use HireLanz: which guides and tools are opened, how people move between pages, which tool buttons are used, roughly where visitors are located, and what devices and browsers they use. We use this to fix problems and decide what to improve. Google Analytics does not receive what you type into a tool.
According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. Analytics data is retained for no longer than 14 months. You can block Google Analytics with the browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or through your cookie settings. Google’s own privacy information is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files that a site or a service used by the site stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels. We and our partners use them for essential site functions, for analytics, for advertising, and for remembering your cookie choice and, in some tools, your own entries. The Cookie Policy lists the categories, who sets them and how to manage them.
8. Who receives information
We do not sell your personal information for money. Information can be processed by, or disclosed to:
- Google, as the provider of AdSense and Analytics, under its own policies
- Hosting, security and content-delivery providers that keep the site running and protect it from abuse
- Email and website-software providers that deliver and store the messages you send us
- Our consent-management provider, which records your cookie choices
- Spam and abuse-prevention services
- Authorities, courts or other parties where the law requires it, or where it is reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights or property of HireLanz, its users or others
These providers may process information on our behalf or under their own terms and privacy policies. The providers we use can change, and we update this policy when a significant one is added or removed. Under some US state laws, sharing data for interest-based advertising can count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising”. Section 12 explains how to opt out.
9. International transfers
We operate from Pakistan, the site is accessed worldwide, and our providers process information in various countries, including the United States. Your information may therefore be handled outside the country where you live. Where the law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on the mechanisms our providers use, such as standard contractual clauses and the terms Google describes in its policies. If you write to us from the EEA or the UK, your message is received in Pakistan and handled as described here, for the purpose of answering you.

We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed for its purpose.
11. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect information, such as keeping software up to date and restricting access to the site’s administration. No website or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Because tool entries stay on your device, their protection also depends on the security of your own device and browser.
12. Your rights and choices
Everyone. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Because we do not receive what you enter into tools, there is nothing on our side to retrieve, correct or delete; clearing your browser’s site data removes anything a tool remembered on your device.
EEA, UK and Switzerland. Depending on the circumstances, you have the right to access your information, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use (including where we rely on legitimate interests), receive it in a portable form, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your data-protection authority, for example the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK or your national supervisory authority in the EEA.
California and other US states. Depending on the law that applies, you may have the right to know what personal information a business collects, to have it deleted or corrected, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising cookies from Google and its partners can count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some state laws, and you can opt out with the tools in section 5 or through the cookie settings on this site. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Elsewhere, including Pakistan. We handle requests under the law that applies to you.
How to make a request. Email contact@hirelanz.com and say what you would like us to do. We may ask for information to confirm it is really you, and we respond within the time the applicable law requires (for the EU and UK GDPR, one month). These rights are not absolute and can be limited by legal exceptions.
13. Automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects. Tool results are calculations that you view; we do not use them or your usage to score, profile or decide anything about you.
14. Children
HireLanz is a general-audience site about jobs and careers, and it is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to contact@hirelanz.com and we will delete it.
15. Links and embedded content
Guides and tools link to employer career pages, job boards, government sites and other external websites, and some pages may embed third-party content such as videos, maps or social posts. Once you leave HireLanz, or interact with embedded content, that third party’s privacy policy, cookies and data practices apply, and it may collect information about your device and browser. We encourage you to read those policies before giving out personal information.
16. Do Not Track
There is no agreed standard for how sites should respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, and HireLanz does not change its behaviour because of them. You can control cookies and similar technologies through the cookie settings on this site and through your browser.
17. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when features, tools, providers, our practices or the law change. Each time, we change the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change affects how tool entries are handled, we will say so on the relevant tool page as well.
