About HireLanz

HireLanz is a free set of career and relocation tools, supported by guides that explain the rules and figures behind them. With the tools you can turn a salary into monthly and hourly pay, compare two job offers, see what a job description actually asks for, check your CV against it, find work-visa routes worth researching for a country, and estimate what a move abroad could cost.

The tools come first. The guides exist so that a rule or number a tool relies on, such as the minimum salary for a work permit, has a written explanation and a link to the authority that publishes it.

Who runs HireLanz

HireLanz is published and maintained by Muhammad Anus from Islamabad, Pakistan. He is responsible for the guides, and for what each tool calculates, which assumptions it uses and which reference data it shows. His working method is described on the Author page.

What a tool result is, and is not

A tool result is a calculation, a comparison or a checklist built from what you enter. It is a way to see your own numbers and options more clearly.

It is not a decision. The Visa Route Explorer does not tell you whether you qualify for a visa. The CV Keyword Matcher does not predict whether an employer’s screening software or a recruiter will shortlist you. The salary tools do not calculate your tax unless a tool page says they do. The Relocation Budget Calculator gives a planning estimate, not a quote.

• Job-search practice, including how to spot fraudulent listings

Tools and guides link to each other. If a guide and the official source ever disagree, the official source is right and we fix the guide.

What HireLanz is not

HireLanz is a publication and a set of tools. It is not a law firm, tax practice, recruiter or migration adviser. Nothing on the site is legal, immigration, tax or financial advice. We are not the employer for any role we mention, we do not receive or process job applications, and we never charge job seekers for a job, an interview or a visa. If anyone claims to represent HireLanz and asks you for money, please report it to contact@hirelanz.com.

Immigration and tax outcomes depend on your nationality, where you are, your current status, your employer, your contract and the rules in force on the day you apply. Check your own position with the responsible government authority before you act.

How we keep the tools and guides accurate

Rules, thresholds, fees and deadlines come from the authority that issues them: for example USCIS, the U.S. Department of State and the IRS for the United States; BAMF and the German Federal Government for Germany; the IND and Business.gov.nl for the Netherlands; Ireland’s Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment and Immigration Service Delivery; SIRI for Denmark; and EU bodies such as the European Commission, Eurostat and EUR-Lex.

Salary aggregators, job boards and cost surveys are used only for market estimates, and they are labelled as estimates. Our own comparisons and calculations are labelled as ours.

Every tool page shows its method and assumptions. Where a tool displays reference data, such as an exchange rate or a permit fee, the page names the source and the date it was checked. Guides that describe changing rules carry Published, Last updated and Last reviewed dates, and a review date is recorded only on the day the check was actually done. Corrections

If a tool gives a wrong result, or a guide states something incorrectly, tell us and we will check it. Send the details to correction@hirelanz.com. Substantive corrections are marked with the date. The process is in the Corrections Policy.

Cost and advertising

The tools and guides are free, and you do not need an account. HireLanz is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Advertisers and employers cannot pay to change a tool result, a guide’s conclusion, or how we describe an employer, and no tool ranks or promotes employers. Ads are kept visually separate from tools and articles, and an ad is not an endorsement. If we ever add affiliate links or paid features, we will label them clearly and update the policies before they go live.
