Keep the job search in one calm, searchable workspace

A job search can generate dozens of small details: company names, roles, application dates, deadlines, statuses, notes and follow-ups. When those details live across email, spreadsheets and browser tabs, it becomes easy to forget what happened or apply twice. Job Application Tracker gives you a simple local workspace for the applications you choose to record. It is intentionally practical rather than a full recruitment CRM.

Add an application with the company, role, status, deadline and notes you want to remember. You can edit a record later, search the list, filter by status and sort by useful fields such as deadline or company. The tracker can also export records to CSV, which is important because browser-local information should not be treated as a permanent archive.

Use status as a workflow, not a score

Statuses such as saved, applied, interview, offer or rejected help you see where attention is needed. They are not predictions of success. A useful habit is to add a short note after every meaningful interaction: who contacted you, what was requested, and what the next action is. That turns the tracker from a list of links into a lightweight record of your own job-search process.

Your data stays in this browser

The tracker stores its records in browser localStorage. That means the information is not a server-side application database created by this tool. It also means clearing browser or site data can remove the records. Export important information as CSV if it matters, and avoid using the tracker as the only copy of sensitive application notes.

Limitations

This is a browser-based organizer, not a recruitment platform. It does not send applications, contact employers, sync with job boards, or predict outcomes.
